Family Fortune Times (FFT) was formed on 18th July 2023 and launched on 15th January 2024 to address the growing needs of the principals and potential principals and their direct reports of the fast-growing family offices and business families in Singapore. It spun off from Fortune Times magazine, a Chinese Business News Media founded in 2004 highly recognized in Southeast Asia, mainly in Singapore, Hong Kong territory, Malaysia and Indonesia and China.
At FFT, our vision is to establish a trusted and respected bilingual platform, serving as a comprehensive resource for family offices and business families across the Asian region, fostering connections within the Asian family offices community.
It leverages on the extensive strength and business network of Singapore, China, and Indonesia of the three co-founders Annie Song, Melvyn Goh and Dorothy Seet in their respective industry competencies.
This unique partnership among the three co-founders seeks to harness the understanding and serve the needs of these business families. While Annie, mainland China based in Singapore has published more than 100 issues of Fortune Times with access to more than 30 ultra-high net worth families in China and South-east Asia, Melvyn, formerly President for Forbes China , based in Shanghai has work closely with mainland wealthy and business families from 2005 to 2021. Dorothy is a second-generation business owner and an award-winning business leader based in Beijing for more than two decades and is now currently based in Singapore.
FFT bilingual content is curated with a specific focus on key aspects such as family dynamics, succession planning, philanthropy, and investment management. FFT hopes to become the most authoritative and trusted platform for the principals, their NextGen successors, and their senior employees of family offices and high-net-worth business families in Singapore and the broader region.
